Working From Home on My Business Path

In 1991 working from home became the best alternative for Ted Morgan, a disabled highway construction office manager. My business path started when I survived three devastating strokes that left me severely paralyzed and unable to work a regular job. I was originally left handed. After the last stroke and the ensuing paralysis, I had to learn how to use my right hand for almost everything like tying shoe laces and buttoning my clothes.

After years of extensive therapy I decided to try a new line of work to insure my new financial future. With a degree in business administration, I ultimately would love to be able to share my growing business knowledge with others through my own online tutoring business.

Due to the global recession and our capitalism system out whack, it is good that in 1996 I began working from home learning how to build an online business. Good business ethics is one of my prime directives to make money at home.

I am guided by the chaos of the stock market crash of 1929 to be frugal in my business dealings to be able to  withstand the turbulent times in the near future of my small business ideas. The challenge was getting the truth for building a profitable online small business. From 1996-2000, most of the truth I got came from my online failures, later from some paid courses.

For four years I found myself jumping from program to program and always looking for the free or almost free ones to test out. After a while I found that I did not need a program, what I really wanted was my own business. The affiliate model was not necessarily my first choice as being  in business for myself. But as time passed, I eventually hooked up with some excellent coaches that got me on the online business path that I envisioned for myself .

I have always been a perpetual student of learning. What I learned and implemented from my studies become themes to be shared with my website visitors. Now that I have an excellent online platform for my business, (in my head) now I do not feel disabled anymore, I feel empowered. It was not till I found SBI! that I finally understood the full scope of building an online small business.

Throughout this journey I have come to know that a profitable online business really takes passion, dedication, a good coach you can trust, apply the necessary business principles, have an unquenchable  desire to want to know more, do honest diligent research and make the time to really work the business; most of all, the business owner must be ethical and have a giving heart to sever people.
