Unemployment Insurance?

During this global recession, can you agree that unemployment insurance is becoming more prevalent as a livelihood for many Americans these days? If you become disabled, fired or laid off, many of us must file claims just to make ends meet until health improves or secure more meaningful work. (Ref. article)

As time passes it s clear that business education  and working from home is becoming the way people find it there way out of getting from under the thumb of their income dilemma. (Ref. article)

They are finding that there are other options are available that they have not tried. The neat thing is that each and every day that average people are going back to school to get better knowledge and online skills so they can build their own web revenue generation systems.

But it all starts with a clear vision and business mindset.(Ref. article)

It is a sad state of affairs because more times than not, companies have a way of keeping employees for about four to five years before they lay them off or out right fire them.

I am not totally certain that these companies do not have an un-written policy for employee turnover. But it is a recurring phenomenon that I have noticed over the last forty years.

 In the first fifty years of the last century, it was not uncommon for a person to work the same job until they retire, barring any early disability retirement issues or filing any claims for long-term disability. Now days, it is normal to find yourself in the unemployment insurance office due to corporate downsizing or corporate takeovers.

It is devastating enough loosing a job, but it is even worst when you find out that your employer intentionally played a major role in it and you end up biting the bullet.

Many are not taking it anymore, they are building their own Internet based home business and working it from home.

The EDD (the state Employment Development Department) does provide job training and has a job bank. See your state's local EDD office for more information on their services. For your enlightenment here is the state EDD website for California.

Note: Did you know that more than 90% of the employment claimants seriously consider going into business for themselves? But many of them prefer to suffer for twenty-six weeks.
