Starting a Business Easily

Starting passive income opportunities online are very labor intensive; in 1991 I became paralyzed due to a brain injury and one month later lost my 9-5 job; after some diligent soul searching I finally settled on several online extra income ideas that I have always toyed with in the past.

After a few days I narrowed the list to the very best one that I believed will help me with earning money at home online; little did I know that, that was the first of a laundry list of necessary duties for me to be successful online; even though I have a degree in business, I had no experience in this arena, therefore, I began searching for a business coach that I could trust.

Fortunately, a good friend recommended one to me; one that stands as a pillar of good business ethics and integrity; how good was he, you ask? We’ve been together since the summer of 2003, he quickly became my right hand and instrumental in making my business very successful; in hindsight, I cannot count the times he saved my hide from the brink of business bankruptcy; dollar for dollar, I have to say that having a good coach was the best investment I ever made in my business.

From my days in college I thoroughly understood that business was all about building relationships and communication; also, being especially mindful of the guiding principles that must be followed to be profitable in business; it has been my experience that successful businesses evolve from passionate online business ideas, which have solid plans for the performance of the duties necessary to accommodate a successful venture. It is also our experience that one of the leading causes of business failure are directly related to choosing a business venture that the owner is not passionate about; you may be wondering what passion has to do with starting a business; in essence, passion is the glue that builds the business and indirectly drives profits; it also influences the consumer to make a purchase and motivates the business owner to want to work the business; without a doubt, there will be days that the owner will not want to get out of bed, let alone to work the business, but passion and love for the business quails those desires; if you love what you do, it naturally follows that the things you do will not be grievous and become a joy; example: professional golfers, football players, boxers, chefs and gardeners love their chosen professions and make millions (working) in them.

Any endeavor worth doing is worth doing well when starting a business; it takes years to develop the skills to become professional at anything; it is my understanding that it takes at least 10 years of diligent education, training and work to become expert in a field of endeavor; in the field of entrepreneurship is no different; with that said, please note that if someone is entertaining the notion of building a business online, there is a skill set that must be acquired; ongoing education and training are needed to get on top and stay there; it is good to be optimistic but you should not expect your business to be an overnight wonder (business competition is really stiff); I suggest building your business slowly and steadily always keeping in mind that learning is your earning power.

Starting a Business: Brainstorming Small Business Ideas Your initial brainstorm will expose many potential business ideas, but you especially want to find ideas that are rooted and grounded in your heart; it is important that the idea comes from your heart as apposed to an idea that is simply conjured from your mind only, ideas that come from your mind solely are fleeting and will not last as a practical business venture.

Now we need to get in touch with our true feelings and passions because we want to start a business that will pass the test of time; one of our mentors use to say that this exercise will work well when you keep this in mind, what would you do, what would your life look like, what dreams and passions would you have if you knew you were guaranteed success--- Last of all, what if you couldn’t fail--- successful business owners own this mindset.

The action steps to writing a list of viable online business ideas: 1 List the things you are totally excited about; 2 List the things you could be passionate about; 3 List jobs and job experiences; 4 List your hobbies skills & talents; 5 List big and small problems you solved in your life; 6 List problems you face in your life that are not yet resolved and you wish you had a solution today; and 7 List your big and small personal life experiences, things (negative/positive) you have gone through.

Now that you have a list of about 200 heartfelt ideas I suggest that you take a look to see patterns or categories if ideas that you are strongly passionate about; these ideas will be the building blocks on which to build your business; it is to your advantage to continue adding ideas to your lists, which will further add dimension and depth to your business. 

Starting a Business: Two Roads Running a business is not the normal path of choice for most people; but if you are seriously considering it, ask an online business tutor the way to go; most of us do not have a clear Internet business model in mind in the beginning, nor do we have the Internet business education and the online wisdom to make working from home child's play.

On the other hand, online business education will definitely work for you not against you; now if you are seriously considering being a business owner to earn money online, this tells me a lot about you and your business character; you are not ordinary, you tend to be responsible and accountable, prefer being the leader, self-directed and want to be in control of your life.

Consider these two critical life paths, the one that most people choose is the one that has the least resistance; the path that does not require a lot of responsibility on their part; this is the path for ordinary or average people, the followers, those that prefer to be led; of all adults worldwide 97% of them have chosen this path; this path is also the labor pool of the world; you on the other hand prefer starting a business, not afraid of taking risks and taking on uncommon responsibility; you want to be a member of the 3% crowd of  the world that are the leaders, the people that employ the followers.

This is our experience for those starting a business successfully, be bold, decisive and by all means get a good business coach that you can trust; a good coach is dollar-for-dollar the best investment for starting a business bar none; your coach will help with your strategic planning and implementation of it; this is the way to insure business efficiency; the funding issue is one of the main reasons why most new businesses fail, if you need extra funding I suggest you seek small business grants first and major consider loans second; the other reason is the lack of strategic planning and implementation of the business plan. 

Whenever you are uncertain of what to do next in your business, simply ask someone that knows (your business coach); knowledge is confidence building squared; having a coach that you can trust will be your own personal small business guide to home business success; in my mind, there is no better way for starting a business the right way than having a good coach  on hand.

A good coach is an on-hand library of knowledge and experience everyone needs to get increased web traffic and business efficiency; the law of attraction in your Internet business starts with having an experienced and knowledgeable coach; having a good coach is like doing something you've never done before but have the instructions and a sounding-board that has done it before and will show you the way; starting a business online is real work but if it is your passion--- is it really work?
