But they are seriously misguided. Studies show that people 'buy' because they 'want' to buy, and that buying is an emotional decision on the part of the buyer.

I am not a scientist or know exactly why this is true, but it is what it is, and my salesmanship expertise attests to that fact. I do not sell stakes to vegetarians and I surely don't coax prospect to buying what they need; I influence them to buying  whatever they want that appeals to them.
