Which Business Pathways Are You On?
The
business pathways page always leads to a web revenue generation
system, the preferred destination is the one that ultimately leads to
profit (of course). Be clear on your decision to follow your labyrinth of
choices and actions that actually steer you along the narrow path to profit.
Working at home, being the boss and
making money online (cashflow) are three main ingredients for starting a
successful online business venture. They are not the only things but they are
the focal point. Throughout your business education there will be many
'wow' moments too for sure.
After years
of
learning online business and coaching
apprentices, today I wish to share some of that
online wisdom
with you today.
Building a thriving
Internet based home
business is the first test to see if you have the
mindset to endure the trial to the very end. It asks these questions, "What is the
Internet business model you intend on building your business around, what led
you to decide to build an Internet based home business and are you determined
enough to see it through at all cost?"
Is the business you intend to build going to be another expensive hobby
that you can quit when you feel like it, or is it going to be a real business?

(Do or Die)
Now is the time to make this critical decision a "do or die" decision from its
inception, no maybes. Have you spent time seeking the best available business
marketing research for your business yet?
Now that the preliminaries have been quashed, lets move on to the business
management phase where you will shift gears from merely thinking about
your dream to actually building your business. In this phase you will begin
laying the groundwork by writing up a simple business plan.
Write a business plan with your sample mission statement included. Also
include just enough information to prompt taking immediate action. Avoid
becoming overwhelmed with too much planning & thus paralysis by analysis. Choose
a descriptive name for the business that creatively says exactly what the
business does.
With your plan (recipe) in hand, next refine your market traffic targeting
through a web site traffic
path. If you serve the best stakes in town and everyone in town are
vegetarian, you will not make many sales of stakes.
Traffic targeting is the all-important process that many fail to negotiate to
get robust business sales. Before you started your business, we hope you did a
through market analysis (business marketing research); to make sure that if your
business is indeed needed and that the market has proven that they have
purchased similar products or services in the recent past.
The fifth of 9 business pathways is the
marketing path. A certified Internet marketing plan should start with
marketing research and a good Internet viral marketing component. There are many
ways to make yourself attractive to your visitors, marketing is merely a way to
make yourself more attractive to your market.
These two previous business pathways work together (marketing &
advertising). There are just as many strategies in advertising as there are in
marketing. Each advertising campaign should contain its own
advertising/marketing mix. Some advertising media work better than others for
some products/services. You just have to test and test and test...
There is no clear winner in this area. The best way to know the "best media
strategy" for your products/services is to track your advertising
campaigns. The ones that work better continue, the ones that work poorly
discontinue.
On the other hand, once you've find the best advertising
strategy, don't settle for that. You should always be look for a better strategy
(marketing mix) than the best one you previously found.
After going through six of the nine business pathways, at this time we
have to back-track a bit; when you started your marketing pathway, you
also started your
customer service pathway at the same time. Service is "all" about
your prospects and customers. It should never be about
you. Your first connection with them should be a joyous one.
When they first interacted with you, you gave them something through your
marketing efforts. Your marketing made them want more. This is the reason why
they are now at your establishment.
Now that you have your targeted prospects at your door, now starts the
sales/income/profit pathways. Again, don't settle for selling them just the best
stake in town, always take every opportunity to over-deliver. We can't over
stress this point. A satisfied customer will be your repeat customers in the
future. Once the sale is made don't stop there either.
The final phase is what makes your business more than the average stake house or
any business. This final phase of business pathways is the customer
service pathway can single handedly make or break your business' future. This is
the last opportunity you will get to reflect positively before they leave you
and sometimes forever.
True enough that you went into business to make money by following these
business pathways, but it is not necessarily the
main goal of your business to sell everything in your store to
each and every prospect/customer; it should be more about how you can provide
solutions to the questions that your prospect/customers want answered.
Be a facilitator of the 'want that your prospect/customers
expect of you.
Business pathways are your critical links to position yourself
and be a conduit in the business process, not just being another greedy
salesman. Make it a point for you to be the better part of their lives.
