Online Business Coaching

Welcome to our business coaching website! We are Chris and
Ted Morgan and are thrilled that you decided to spend time with us today. We
built this website as a testament that dreams do come true when you have home
business ideas and take the action steps necessary to make them a reality. We
are not know-it-alls by no means, but we have learned that real success in life
comes from sharing.
With that said, we truly believe that others that have a similar business vision
can learn from the experiences we got through building our Web business. The
coming pages will catalog what got us to this point.
Starting a Business Online
Business coaching and small business funding are without a doubt the
leading causes of early business failure. In the near past, many of us have
garnered a growing urge to go into business for a wide variety of reasons; from
layoffs due to the recent global recession, becoming retired or to simply take
advantage of being the boss of your own company to make money at home online.
Starting a business that will last starts with business education, passion and
action.
Whatever the case may be for starting a business online, there are many
indispensable aspects to being successful, inadequate entrepreneur education and
funding top the list. It is prudent to get all your ducks in a row before
starting any business. It is also undisputed that more than half of all
businesses fail within the first five years of going into business, due to the
above two leading causes alone.
In these two cases have two simple solutions, you can hire a good
entrepreneur coach that will keep your business on the straight and narrow path
to success, and seek small business grants as a great way to finance your
company and not have to repay those funds. With those risks addressed, I would
like to speak on a few other risks to business success online.
Quote: "The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to
make a living at doing what they most enjoy." Malcolm S. Forbes
Do you have several small business ideas that will keep you totally engaged in
your business for the long haul? If not, it is in your best interest that you
begin brainstorming theme ideas for your company. And out of that list of
credible themes (that you truly love) decide on the single best one as your
company theme. You will find that this exercise will pay big dividends as your
company grows.
Success in business is directly interrelated to success in relationships and
based around products and brands, both of which are built by and for people.
Business is not a game. If you've been doing some serious research on your
business, you know that starting your own business is without a doubt the way to
go. Small business ideas are especially well matched to online marketing because
it easily serves specialized niches, something that would have been more
difficult before the Internet revolution began in the late 1990s. in general, a
smaller company is more flexible, while larger companies, or those with wider
ownership or more formal structures will usually tend to be organized as
partnerships or (more commonly) corporations.
A single person who owns and runs a company is commonly known as a sole
proprietor, whether he or she owns it directly or through a formally organized
entity. Business is business and friends are friends. Always keep it in mind
that the reason to begin an online business is to give you the time and money to
live the life you choose (lifestyle). To build a website for your own home
business is not simple, but it does not have to be difficult either.
Now, we should all know that registering any business is a long winding process.
You will need to know if an online business is for you. Starting an Internet
business is the simplest way to become a business owner and getting in control
of our life on your own terms. One of the most challenging phases in having your
own business is finding financial sources or getting small business loans for
your business operations. There is no doubt that in my mind an online business
is the best lucrative option these days. The startup costs for an Internet
company is next to nothing in contrast to the offline world of business
startups.
For this reason, choosing a low risk approach to developing an online business
is a better long-term option for most home-based startups. An online home
business is an outstanding way to make money at home or quit your day job for
good. Be mindful though that a home-based business is not for everyone. As soon
as the company is up and running, you have to engage yourself in its day-to-day
operations. I've heard many people say that the largest mistakes you could make
in starting a business is being under funded along with having little business
knowledge, and I have to agree with those sentiments.
Web Business Coaching: The structure of a successful Internet
company
Moments from now your online business coach will attempt to
analyze the basic machinery of a successful online company. I hope you have a
sharp pencil and lots of paper to take some really good notes. Ready? I am Ted
and will act as your entrepreneur coach and online business tutor for this
entrepreneur lesson.
Before we get into the entrepreneur training, I wish to applaud you in
graduating out of the following-mode of business to the leadership-mode. If
you've been doing your homework, you know that beginning your own company is
without a doubt the best way to go these days. You will in the long run see the
enormous wage difference between working your own company and working for
someone else for an hourly compensation. Look at it this way, who ever got
wealthy working 9 to 5? In other words, to be successful in business the work
must be done by someone and in your company, that means YOU.
Running a company is not easy and is multi-faceted just as life itself. Just
imagine business (company) like a living person. A living person has life until
they die; a business also has life and dies like a living being. The difference
between the two is that a business (company) is simply a legal entity, not flesh
and bone.
There are four classes of company ownership:
Sole proprietorship - a company owned by one person.
Partnership - a company in which two or more people operate for the common
purpose of making a profit.
Corporation - a corporation is a limited liability entity that has a separate
legal personality from its members.
Cooperative - Often referred to as a "co-op", a limited liability entity that
can organize for-profit or not-for-profit. A cooperative is different from a
corporation in that it has members, as opposed to shareholders, who share
decision-making authority.
As I pointed out earlier, starting a business is quite labor
intensive and has quite a few facets to it. A company begins as an idea in the
mind of a person or persons for the intention of making a profit. It is my
experience that whatever those small business ideas are, it is most significant
that the ideas be something that is heartfelt, something they love, something
that the person(s) are passionate about.
Having passion about the business idea is the first trial that a new company
will face. When the business idea does not satisfactorily reflect the passions
of the person(s), there will come a day (out of the blue) that all hell will
break lose in the company and the owner will lose heart and relinquish the
company very easily.
Otherwise, if they start a company from their passions they will fight harder to
save their company. Passion will force them to look forward to doing the work
necessary to make the company successful, defying the odds.
Having a great passion-filled business idea and having the understanding that
success only comes from hard work, takes us to the next phase of creating a
business plan and mission statement. Mission statements are an important part of
your business plan; when thoughtfully crafted a mission statement increases
efficiency, productivity and profitability. It incorporates the business' vision
reflecting your values and how you plan on living these out (i.e. budgets, small
business marketing plans, etc.) within the company.

Having a great passion-filled business idea and having the understanding that

important part of your business plan; when thoughtfully crafted a mission
statement increases efficiency, productivity and profitability. It incorporates
the business' vision reflecting your values and how you plan on living these out
(i.e. budgets, small business marketing plans, etc.) within the company.
Your Web Business Coaching on Mission Statements
Most mission statements are oftentimes full of buzzwords; if these are
unfamiliar to you make sure you find out what they mean. Without planning there
is a peril of getting sidetracked by your own ideas, idle thoughts, and even the
competition. With good planning your goals are more solid and helps to insure
your company's success. Craft a simple business plan with your business mission
statement included. Include just enough information to prompt taking immediate
action. Hold off on becoming overwhelmed with too much planning and thus
paralysis by analysis may occur. Choose a descriptive name for the company that
creatively says exactly what the company does.
Mission statements should address the following statements: what you do, where
you do it, for whom you do it, how you do it and why you do it.
Define your vision- that is, answer the questions why do we exist? What do we
want to become in the future? The vision commits your company to both a short- &
long- term objective. With a defined vision there is no wavering.
Define your simple mission statement- that is, answer the questions how am I
going to do it? How am I going to get there (to the vision)? The mission
statement tells you how it will accomplish its vision.
Define your product or service- what do you plan to sell? Thoroughly analyze
your product/services, your buyers, your competitors (and their possible actions
and reactions), and your market before you decide which pricing strategy would
best fit your business. Review pricing strategy by product, and by product line,
on a regular basis to make sure that the fit remains the best.
Know your costs- Answer the following: What are your client's costs? What is
your profit?
Define your support staff & wages- prepare first-year budgets (one household and
one for the business)- Estimate numbers for the following:
· Gen. operating expenses
· Equip. & Capital expenditures
· Expected wages for support staff
· Expected sales
· Projected income from all sources
Your Web Business Coaching on Budgets
Budgeting is a necessary evil and must be included in your sample mission
statement. A successful company maintains a balanced budget, reflective of total
costs against projected sales and leaving free space for business cash flow.
When you take the time to review often your company's budget, you will clearly
see if you have the money to spend or if you need to replenish your budget by
investing more money. Go through your company's budget on a bi-weekly or monthly
basis. By monitoring your budgets you will see how it will be used in the future
based on your current knowledge of the business budget.
Another way to ensure
that your business budget is up to date and reviewed properly is to hire skilled
and knowledgeable accountants that will be in charged of your company's
financial accounts. Since they are responsible for managing your business
expenses, make sure you have them keep you informed about the business budget on
a bi-weekly basis.
Your Web Business Coaching on Leveraging
Having come up with some excellent small business ideas, let's proceed without
hast to get you from here and into profit in the least amount of time as
possible. Without getting too far ahead of myself, I strongly suggest that you
embody a strong viral marketing arm along with social networking and blogs in
your Web business. These leveraging tools can easily leverage your company's
efforts exponentially. I almost forgot about you setting up a newsletter;-).
Subscribers to your newsletter is a great way to stay close to your market on a
hands-on personal level.
Increased knowledge and online experience is indeed going to be needed to get
increased web site traffic for your business. Without it, profit will be a ghost
in your company guaranteed. The process of getting the experience is going to be
a lengthy one. Making your company profitable is a marathon not a sprint, profit
comes at the end of the race. For my money, there is no better online
entrepreneur training than that from Dr.
Ken Evoy.
Throughout this Web business coaching website there will be tips and steps that
can be used to get the result you require. Side-stepping the common online
business mistakes throughout your business startup routines. Even the best of us
make online business mistakes, just do not let them steal your focus. Building
an online business is a relatively simple task. (Online Business Coaching Ref.
article)
But be sure to follow all the online business building steps; even having a
knowledgeable online entrepreneur coach is only half of the ingredients for
success. There is a critical building process, including ongoing business
research. In your zeal to get your web small business ideas off the ground, it
starts and ends with your planning and vision. Above are the overriding factors
why most fail at realizing their hidden potential. The rewards are well worth
your money, time and effort when you follow and execute a proven plan. It has
been said that, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
Note: The foregoing information was written for those interested in building a
long-lasting online business presence.

Your Web Business Coaching on Management
The study of the efficient and effective operation of a business is called
management. Main branches are: financial management, marketing management, human
resource management, strategic management, production management, service
management, information technology management, and business intelligence.
Poor or ineffective management is usually a
lack of balanced experience & competence in three areas:
Marketing Know-how- knowing what kind of product or service to sell, how to
target & reach your customers, & how to sell your product or service at a price
that maximizes your profits. As a side note, viral marketing should be a
consideration in a good small business marketing mix.
Online business coaching tip 2) Technical know-how- You must be able to get the
work done & do it right so you will have satisfied customers.
Online business coaching tip 3) Financial know-how- While you do not necessarily
have to be a financial wizard or know how to get small business loans, however,
you will need to know how to plan and control your business cash flow system,
how to raise or borrow money you will need to start your web business idea and
get through tight periods without being caught short of cash.(Web business
coaching)
If you are seriously deficient in one or more of these critical areas, the odds
of your web business idea becoming one of the few that succeeds are greatly
reduced. Your degree of participation should be at least 6 to 10 months for
success. Use advisors, professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants in
starting up your online business.
This online entrepreneur coach also strongly suggests that you keep a pulse on
your market and business in general. Take business-related courses before
starting your business endeavor & regularly read business books and magazines.
Your expectations of income should be a modest one when you institute or launch
your web business idea. If you are of the mind of those launching their online
business without an online entrepreneur coach and advisors and prefer to do it
on your own, I say good luck (you are going to need it). This is precisely why
we began building this online website; so that there is another option other
than trying to climb to the top of a greased pole or trying to win a race with
your track shoelaces tied together.
Moments from now you will experience the traction action you desire to drive
increased targeted Web site traffic for your online business. With the
groundwork done, a track to run on, where do you go from here? As your
entrepreneur coach, we are doing our best to give you online business success on
a platter.
Here is what you will walk away with from this business coaching website:
